Coding Towers was founded in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria, in 2017 with a simple belief – that where someone comes from should never determine whether they get access to quality tech education and the chance to build something of their own. That belief has not changed. What has changed is the scale.
Over 5,000 people have trained with Coding Towers – from school-age children taking their first coding class to working professionals joining virtual programmes. More than 100 businesses have been supported, over 1,000 jobs created, and a thriving community built around a shared commitment to growing African tech talent.

Skills for Life
To train the next generation of African tech talent – with a deliberate focus on children, young people, and women who have had the least access to quality digital education. Whether in a classroom or a virtual session, the standard is the same.
Building Businesses
To support startups and small businesses with mentorship, workspace, funding guidance, and the networks they need to grow, create jobs, and contribute to the African economy.
A Community Without Borders
To sustain and grow a tech community that connects individuals, entrepreneurs, educators, and organizations across Nigeria, Africa, and the diaspora – with no geography as a barrier to belonging.
